Fly in to CYAZ, Tofino-Long Beach Airport

OUTSIDE THE FINAL APPROACH RESTAURANT.

LONG BEACH WEATHER FORCAST IS NOT GOOD, PROCEED TO ALTERNATE.

Arrive and park your plane before 1pm ( 2000Z ) CYAZ

1pm Walk to beach

4pm or Late afternoon, return to airport and fly back to respective airfields.

Please pack your own lunch and drinks. We can coordinate food on Facebook event page.

Bring sunscreen, beach blanket, water, sunglasses, camera, earplugs for plane for Passengers without headsets.

towel if you plan to go in the water.

If you have a plane and have seats available, please post on the facebook events page and provide details, airport, time of departure, etc.

If you are looking for a ride, please connect on the Facebook Event page.

Passengers are encouraged to help support the pilot with food, drinks, gas money and/or love.

Plan B if Weather isn’t suitable (eg Not VFR, Fog or excessive smoke) is Qualicum Beach - CAT4.

CAP is not liable for any great experiences or consequences.

It is up to the pilot to best judge if they and their plane are fit to fly and flying conditions are within their capabilities.

There is parking available for aircraft on apron III or east of the terminal.

There is a egress point to the road East of the aircraft parking to leads to the road and South to the Beach.

There are picnic tables or we can just head to the beach and use a log if there are no tables available.

Have the picnic and then 4pm or when the flock decides its time to go, late afternoon, head back to airport and fly home.

If Long Beach isn't suitable, we will go to Qualicum Beach, if it is VFR, If not we will postpone altogether.

1pm arrival at airport there.
