- Are you a LGBTQ+ youth, aged 12-16?
- Have you ever wondered about what it would be like to be a pilot, a flight attendant, an airplane mechanic or an air traffic controller?
- Do you live in or near Toronto, or can you get here?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, then read on!!
Join us on Sunday, March 24, 9:00 – 3 p.m. for the first Canadian Aviation Mentoring Event for LGBTQ+ Youth in the Jazz Aviation hangar in Toronto (Pearson Airport).
This special event will include free snacks, free lunch, free promotional material, great opportunities to meet other 2LGBTQI+ youth and mix and mingle with people in the aviation industry while you learn about different jobs available and what school programs can get you there!
You will also be invited to help shape the further of aviation, in meeting decision makers to tell them what’s important to improve to make aviation more inclusive of 2LGBTQI+ folks!
Now’s the time to think about your future in aviation….
This event is presented by: Canadian Aviation Pride, Jazz Aviation
If you are a CAP member, would you like to attend as a mentor? If so, please contact Peter Litherland at [email protected] , and let us know how you are currently involved in aviation. In particular, we are looking for AMEs and helicopter pilots. We’d love to have you participate if able!
Thank you!
